King Lir” – Premiere, from September 30 at the Metropol Theater “King Lear”, one of William Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies, will soon be on the stage of the Metropol Theater, as the premiere which will open the new artistic season. With the direction of Jonida Beqos and a fantastic cast of actors, the last weekend of September and throughout the month of October you will have the opportunity to see a production out of the ordinary. “King Lear” is a story of two dysfunctional families, with different dynamics, which many of us can closely identify with. But what prompts a king to stand in front of his three daughters and ask who loves him more?! What good can happen when the King is mad and the fool is wise?! When honest people are punished and exiled, when a son turns against his father?!
